Any Blonde highlight Idea for Naturally Curly ?
by Jen
I've had the same (pretty much unstyled) hair for as long as I can remember. I've always hated my naturally curly hair but have recently stopped straightening it to death and let it be. But now I'm not really sure what to do with it? I'd quite like to add blonde highlights but I'm really not sure if it'd suit me, what do you think?

I seen your picture you are very pretty. I think you would look excellent with light golden blonde highlights. I would avoid too white of a blonde because this would take away from your warm rosy features.
Adding highlights in a blonde color will bring a nice bright look to your curly hair. By looking at your picture, I suggest that you have a good stylist give you a "shape cut". I think that your hair has suffered from all the straightening and cutting the ends will help to bring the curls back.
Hair with your texture is best highlighted using a freehand painting on technique... avoid a foiling technique... you do not need the cost or the heavily highlighted look. You can experiment with levels of lift and placement on the curls better freehand. You can do this yourself or have it done in a salon.
