Artistic Hair Styles from NAHA 2005
Babak, the fashion photographer, captured the spotlight at the recent North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA) with his photographs of artistic hair styles and artistic hair designs.
The following stylists were some of the winners at the 2005 NAHA Awards in Las Vegas: North American Hairstylist of the Year 2005
Marjorie Clarke, owner of The Hair Force Salon and Spa of Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, was awarded the prestigious title of North American Hairstylist of the Year. This category is judged on creativity, versatility and expertise in hairstyling.
Clarke also demonstrated her excellence in long hair dressing and retro styling, winning a second award as North American Long Hairdresser of 2005. Additional photos from this collection
Hair Texture of the Year 2005
Frank Dicintio from Salon Gaboa of Woodbridge, Ontario, was the winner of Hair Texture of the Year 2005.
In order to win this category, the hair stylist should demonstrate styles designed to complement diverse hair textures.
