I got a new hair cut and I have bangs straight across, and my hair rests on my shoulders! I showed the lady I wanted it cut about 3 inches below my shoulders! I absolutely hate my hair! it is so boring and straight! what can i do other than wait for it to grow back!

Layer The Bangs

I went to Mitchell's hair school and I worked at salon via in Greenville for a short time until I moved. I would suggest that you get hairdresser to layer your bangs instead of wearing them blunt straight across like a child's cut and if you really want something that is really in that lots of girls like get them to frame out your face, you have pretty hair and it would look great for your face shape. Be optimistic about your change

We all try such dramatic change once or twice in life and it take time to get use to the new look. Losing length can be a frightening and scary thing, however if the right hairstyle is chosen, the new style will make a big difference to how you look and feel.First try to be optimistic about your change. You might even like it with some adjustment. If you not happy about the new cut, then try to opt for a re-design with a good stylist that has sense for fashion.
You can consider a razor cut that will give more texture, movement and softness to your short hair, or maybe you prefer a precision cut that can bring your straight hair into shape.
Although bangs are very personal, but I don't think blunt bangs are suited for your face. You need a style that run away from your face and a blunt bangs is not one of them.
Adding softness and some soft waves to your style could also add interest and will suits your face.
Don't forget hair coloring. A new hair color or perhaps highlight can add more interest than you think. Short hair is ideal for multi-tone hair coloring.
Shoulder-length style is the most suitable length for your face. Smile and enjoy and try to make the best of it for now and let it grow back to shoulder-length.
Good luck
