I completely agree. I have very curly hair (ringlets of frizz starting from the roots) and did the Japanese for years and my hair has gone to the gutters. I am now growing it out and doing keratin treatment every few months. so far its the best thing i ever came across and worth ever penny. Except that it doesn't last that long on my hair and it still curls a bit. More like a lil wave and it is extremely shiny and soft and looks so healthy. 
Just like anything else every thing gives cancer. from shampoo, hair color, perfume, make up, they are all toxic I do believe this product is not good. I am a licensed cosmetologist have performed several of them and have my certificate through Marcia. 
I know costant chemicals can hurt you ...now what kind of cancer can you get from this product.
HI, I did the keratin treatment just one month ago and really satisfied from the results,, yet I noticed that my hair Just Keep Falling :((
I did it and very happy with the results. no side effect, perfect for specially summer time..go for it
I just had this done, my hair feels wonderful. Yea the fumes are pretty bad but just get some fresh air and make sure when you do have it done there is some kind of ventilation.
