Brazilian Keratin Treatment - Marcia Teixeira Experience

I have just gotten the Chocolate again from Marcia Teixeira, twice so far. One when I graduated last year was AMAZING. My hair was thick and full of nonstop shine. I thought it was the answers to my hair prayers. Before the treatment, I had no options with my hair just non stop buying of failed products to tame my frizzzy, pencil diameter spirals, of abundant but thin hair.
As it worked so well last year I decided to do it again for my friends wedding, since its July and my hair would not be styled in no other way besides a tight bun .
Well its day 2 since my treatment and I am disappointed already. My hair is not that shiny, has this sort of very light frizz since day one and continues today on day 2. Called the company and said its expected because the product is in it. Comparably speaking it seems like I have experienced two different products. The recent one costing even more than the more successful one. I will wait to see what happens when I wash it the first time on Friday and style it for the wedding.
On my first Keratin Treatment my first wash was revealing of how good the the treatment is. Braided into a pony tail while in Puerto Rico, and loosened the braid, once dried, to sport a wavy light tresses look, versus without the BKT my braid approach would of failed beyond anything I could describe on my first wash.
We'll see what happens on Friday but I can for-see disappointment beyond what my purse can bare. I don't see how there is people saying out there that they can't tell the difference between formaldehyde free and with formaldehyde. They probably don't have my and other peoples tight unruly hair. Safety is first, I agree, but a faulty product for that price is as bad using formaldehyde. Hopefully they find a middle ground somewhere, soon.
I also heard that both Taip and Maxliss keratin have great products available in order to get the best results, aside from their keratin hair treatment. They are giving away 60ml samples for $20!
I am devastated at what this product did to my hair. I have medium length, lightly highlighted hair that was not really curly but had a frizzy texture with some wave. I thought my hair was in pretty good health. I was assured by my stylist that I was a great candidate for this treatment. The first time I washed my hair after the treatment I knew something was very very wrong. The top layers of hair all over my head felt like a brillo pad- damaged and absolutely fried! My stylist said that this had never happened to a client in the two years she has been using this product. I had to cut off 6 inches from the top layer of my hair. I really should have cutoff 10" from the top layer, but I needed something left. It looks OK with alot of flat ironing, but you can tell the top layer is fried when you get closer and it feels like steel wool (thank god it didn't fry all of my hair) BEWARE!!!!!!!
