Color Advice - Looking For a Fresh Look

by Teresa
(Washington)

I'm looking for a fresh look. I feel washed out and I would like a sexy but, respectable look. I know the two can be combined! I want a color that goes well with my skin tone and make my green eyes pop out! What do you think?

Wanting a fresh look
by: felicia

I, saw your picture you are beautiful. With your fair pinkish skin and beautiful green eyes, a shade with a reddish tone would be amazing. You could do a medium reddish golden blonde. If you want to stick to a deeper shade try a light golden reddish brown or just a reddish brown. Be aware, reds do tend to fade fast if you are doing this at home from a box kit. Always do a strand test by clipping a piece of hair near the scalp in a unnoticeable place. Mix 1 and 1/2 teaspoons developer in glass bowl to 1 teaspoon of hair colorant mix use plastic utensils never metal place strand in mixture for the recommended time take out rinse dry preview. This will save you an unwanted shade from a full head application.

L'Oréal makes excellent products, L'Oréal preference is more a translucent color which means it will cover great but is pretty shiny but not unnatural looking colors. They are accurate also.

L'Oréal makes excellence which is fuller coverage especially if you have any grays, the shades are still luxurious and shiny and not dull. I use 6g light golden brown from excellence my self. It is very pretty. If you are still unsure you can go to the salon.
Good luck!

Vanilla blond with HL/LL - Salon solution idea
by:

An alternative look - First a cut with straight shoulder length design in mind - added layers on sides, styled slightly curved toward neck. Create a new look with vanilla blonde to create a nice contrast with green eyes and pale skin infused with a T-Section lowlight/highlight (thin foiled) to cover sides and fringe to break up, add warmth and counteract the slight pink undertone in your skin tone.

Later in summer re-fresh to get a sun-kissed effect for a perfect beach style.
Have fun!
