I'm looking for some advice on what store bought hair color I should use to correct my major blond mistake. I usually like my hair light brown with highlights, similar to jennifer aniston's hair color. I want to avoid at all cost my hair possibly coming out green or some off the wall color. Does anyone have any suggestions?

My natural color hair is a dirty blond and little gray around the front. It has been one month and 2 weeks since i last colored my hair. Also, i want to say the color came out very yellow with patches of red or brassy tones.
Thank you for your time and your help!

You can try L'Oréal product called Excellence Crème. I always pulled red and gold in my hair since it is naturally a very light golden brown naturally. All hair has red pigments. If you want to go back to a lighter brown you can just remember once you go darker, hair will not lift if you try a lighter shade again.

L'Oréal Excellence is a very good product. It is true shades that are beautiful and natural and not brassy. I use 6g a light golden brown and I pulled very little red and that reddish although very very slight faded after a few washes but the true color does not. It stays really beautiful all the way up to your day you retouch. For me thats about 8 weeks.

It is fantastic at covering gray so no worries there. I recommend you do a strand test first snip off a piece of your hair closest to your scalp in an inconspicuous spot use plastic utensils never metal With an old measuring spoon use 1 teaspoon of colorant to 1 and 1/2 developer mix in glass bowl place strand in allow to develop time for full head usually 30-40 minutes stubborn gray you can go 45 check after 15 minutes take hair out rinse and pat dry and check color the place back in mixture and allow to develop the time try 35 minutes you can always put back in for 5 more if needed.
This will let you take a sneek peek how it will turn out without another whole head mis hap.
Good luck

My recommendation is to color your hair with a level 7 mix with 1 part of 7.3 gold and 10 volume developer for 20 minutes and then re hi lite hair with a 10 volume bleach, or you could do low lites with the same formula and also touch up the re-growth at the same time. You should go to a professional colorist to do this procedure , Condition your hair afterwards.
