Cowlicks And Short Hair

I am desperate to learn how to deal with these unruly cowlicks so that I may wear my hair short. Any input would be so much appreciated.

Lick the cowlick

Choices...
work with it... go to a style that works the cowlick in... let it pop and go with it. OR Have a salon stylist do a spot relaxing of the cowlick... relax it with perm chemicals so it will lay how you want it to. This is fast and easy and not too terribly expensive. it will stay where you want it for 8 to 12 weeks... I used to do these all the time for clients. Works great.
