Depressed with curly frizzy hair

I am fortyish I have curly frizzy hair, I have not found a way to manage my hair, I have given up, I need help, no cut, color or anything else helps. Hair products give me helment head, or brillo head. Products causes frizz, I do not know what to do.

Taming curly hair

It's not curly enough to need a relaxer because of the damage it will do and it's too curly to treat it like anglo hair. Using conditioner and no shampoo is not the answer. Instead you need to not shampoo as often and you need a moisturizing shampoo.

Use a clarifying shampoo every three weeks to remove build up from products. You do need a wax based product for styling. Using gels only to style will only result in hard curls that will flake and eventually frizz.

Use a curl cream on clean wet hair work it through with your fingers. It is true stay away from brushes if you are wearing it curly. Then apply a heavy gel over the cream and either diffuse it only 75% dry or let it dry natural. (However, if you straighten it and only shampoo every two to three days it is important to brush from scalp to ends. Your body produces natural oils that will be so beneficial to your hair and you will also need to remove skin that our bodies shed naturaylly daily. It's not dandruff.)
