From Blonde to Black - Should I Stay Light?

Would black be too dark for me?
I've been wanting to die my hair black for a very long time now, but I am worried that I may be too pale for that color... Any suggestions?

I am pale like you - maybe even more so. But i dyed my hair from a light brown (my natural hair colour) to black and i really liked it. There is no such thing as being "too pale for black" - in fact, black hair looks best with pale skin.
You should really look at your eyebrows. If you have light eyebrows it may look funny with dark hair but if you have darker eyebrows it will make it look more natural.
I think that color you have now is making your skin look sickly, cause it has the brass, orange tones and i thing a dark chocolate brown or black would look way better than what you have now. You can go darker gradually so you get use to it. 
Everybody had mentioned already darker would suit you. I would recommend you to try first semi colour or glossing which fades gradually so that you can see if you like it.Subscribe To This Site
