Hair help needed - Hard to keep my hair up

My hair is just above my shoulders with lots of layers and a side fringe. I find it hard to keep my hair up because little bits always fall out, no matter how many clips or how much hairspray.
I'd like an interesting way to have my hair without it taking too much time, or using too many products.
