Highlights to match grey hair - Fair skinned person?

I am looking for advice on hair colouring. What is the best colour highlights to match and/or camoflauge grey hair on a fair skinned person?

I have a dark-brown hair colour and a lot of gray hair. I am trying to get pregnant and want to stop colouring my hair because of the unproven yet possible risks. I have chosen to do highlights instead. However, the gray hair grows out and the contrast with my current copper highlights does not look nice.

Could you give me advice on choosing a colour to highlight my hair that would possibly camouflage the gray and still look good with my fair skin?
