How to go from golden to ash or platinum blond ?

by Vickie Holleman

My hair is highlighted and now has bright yellow streaks and redish golden blond streaks. I wanted a lightest ash or platinum blond that would allow me to grow my silver roots as I want to wear my silver natural hair. If I apply a lightest ash blond will it turn my hair green over the colors I mentioned I have? What should I do?

Yes your hair may very well turn green gray or purple You will need a pro for this.
Many people try things several times at home and turn terrible colors. Ash has a greenish base to it and if your natural hair is turning gray, I would stay away from ash or you could get a real drabby or mouse gray.

Since you have golden in your hair also going ash as I, said would be a really bad idea. Check different salons for prices since they all vary you will need a pro for this but after that you should be ok to do it at home. L'Oreal has great color kits available and I am sure you could find one to match after you get this fixed. Their colors are beautiful, true to color and turn out great.

I used to use L'Oreal preference in 8g medium golden blonde now I use L'Oreal excellence creme light golden brown my natural color and It matches perfectly.
