I Had to Cut My Hair
by MONA

After having Keratin treatment and paid a fortune for it, I found no change in my hair's appearance at all so I went back to my hair stylist and he proposed to do it again. Now they are straight with no volume, they are not shiny at all and somehow burnt. I had to cut them short and feel like crying every time I look at the mirror.
Morality: insist the product is sealed and opened in front of you and that it doesn't contain more than .2 formaldehyde. Some salons make their own mixture and add whatever straightening products including formaldehyde. Don't let them apply the ceramic iron too many times. If your hair is thin you might lose some, they break during the process. For me it was a very bad experience and will never do it again.
The second process was mistake
by: Anna, StylistThe second-time process with Keratin treatment was a big mistake by that careless hairstylist. No client should go through a second time chemical treatment and I mean ANY chemical treatment (relaxer, hair color, perm, etc..) in such short time interval.
I am not really fund of Keratin treatment myself, but in this case, your condition has nothing to do with Keratin Treatment. Next time choose your stylist with care, specially for chemical treatment.
But for now, try to wash and condition your hair every two days with Kerastase Nutritive BAIN SATIN shampoo and conditioner (ask for the right number for your hair type) until you get your hair back in condition. No more chemical treatment for at least 3-4 weeks. Good luck!
