Don't ever do this treatment if you are caring about your hair.
It is the worse ever,I am now shocked and surprised to found out the formula of the treatment.

The hairdresser guaranteed that this progressiva treatment was free of chemical. Obviously He lied to me and the hairdresser who was applying the product on my hair without mask or gloves was in agony complaining about the smell! do not go to the Brazilian look Salon at Fulham Road in London. As they are advertising the formula for being without chemical.

Who cares if there's chemicals in it, did it work or not because that's the most important factor.

Laura, the chemicals in these straightening products are seriously dangerous so that's why people are caring! They can make your hair fall out, they can burn your scalp, they can cause cancer. That's what the big deal is. Straight hair isn't worth all of that!

Brazilian Keratin

I'm trained in this technique and there is alot of confusion - there are 2 kinds:

1. Similar to relaxer in that it contains chemicals along with keratin to straighten hair, almost like a perm solution. this is used on curly, wavy hair. its not 'dangerous' per se but its a cheap product which is why many salons favour it.

2. Progressive blowout keratin treatment. it is just keratin pressed into the hair to fill in cracks and coat the hair shaft with protein. No fumes etc. Works on hair that is straight or loosely waved and frizzy. progressively you 'straighten' your hair over the course of months.
