I Loved My Curls Before But Now It Turned Frizzy Tight
by Elle

I used to love my curly hair. It was just on the right side of curly - always very thick, but not particularly frizzy, and naturally golden blonde. But over the last two years it has dramatically changed, turning a peculiar gingery/blonde colour, out-of-control and dry as a bone, to the extent that I can no longer comb or blow-dry it without making it horrendously shapeless and frizzy.
I've tried dying it back to my old golden colour, but this doesn't seem to work as the ginger still comes through (especially in photos) and I'm becoming steadily more frustrated.
At the moment my hair is shoulder-length, with areas of tight frizzy curls and areas of horrid lumpy ones. I want an edgy hairstyle without the frizzed-up volume, but I'm not sure this will work.
Has anyone else experienced similar, or has any advice? Thanks :)
