I want to go red?

I want to dye my hair red like the bright red off teh adverts. My natural hair colour is brown but ive been platinum blonde for a long time now. I wear fake tan so my skin colour has a glow to it but my natural skin colour is very fair. I have really blue eyes too. With this info please advise as to if it would be waste of time even to consider going red if you can with the information i have provided. Thanks :-)

If you have really light blue eyes and then dye your hair that brillaint bright red it could create a lovely contrast and make your eyes stand out even more. I think it could work with short or long hair; yes a very nice bright rich red and lovely blue eyes.
My friend had ginger hair and deep blue eyes, and I tried something on Photoshop where I turned hair her red and it made her eyes stand out and she looked lovely though she won't dye it that colour. :(
