My hairdresser INSISTS, that her treatments do not contain formaldehyde..... what do you think????

If you can't get the list of ingredient from your stylist, then just ask her for product name and then search for it on Internet, read review websites, visit the official company website or drop it here so others can comment on it and then you find the answer.

There are two different types of brazilian hair straightening... one with the chemical.. one without. The one with the chemical holds better, and lasts longer than using it without it. Also, if your stylist tells you to use sodium chloride free shampoo... the chemical is def. in the application that she is using.

my hair stylist recommended that i use a very soft shampoo like baby shampoo to be gentle on my hair the product is called royal keratine treatment and its with 3 scents ( strawberry,mint& choclate) can any one tell me weather its safe or not???
need to tell you that the results are great my hair looks very nice

I don't know who certified your stylist or if she is certified to do the keratin treatment. If she knew the facts about this service she would know that baby shampoo is the worst one for you to use considering the ph balance in baby shampoo is at 18.5%. and when you do any type of chemical change to your hair you need to use a ph shampoo that is 4.5% or lower.

Also after this type of treatment you are to use a salt free shampoo otherwise your hair will revert back to its previous condition before treatment. Inoar moroccan keratin treatment was the first one made. It's made in Brazil imported in USA and FDA approved. all of these products contain something from the "HYDE" family but this one is only 2% others are double what they should be.
