Keratin hair straightener - Still deciding
I am so confused, i used the Brazilian twice with great results, it did last about 6 months when i was told it would last 4 at the most. My hair is fried from too much bleach, color, flat irons, everything, but the Brazilian treatment made it look absolutely straight and shiny. There was NO blowdrying or flat ironing necessary, it would start to dry straight out of the shower and dry poker straight. No product necessary, the first time i thought i was hallucinating.
I did wear a mask and so did the stylist for application, we had no problems. He now uses teh coppola in the salon and he likes it, but he said it would NOT produce the same results as the Brazilian. He said my hair would start to wave and the product would be OUT in 2 months.
what to do???!!!
I think hair with a bit of volume and waves look really good instead of dead straight hair. I tried to keep mine with some volume in it but would love more softer waves. Go for it, it would be a perfect summer look. 
As long as you wear a mask and the salon has a ventilation system and you don't inhale any of the fumes, then it should be ok. Alternative is formaldehyde-free keratin treatment and that won't last more than 5-8 weeks.
