Keratin Hair Treatment - Is It True Hair Falling Out?

I was wondering if anyone has had any problems with hair loss after having the Coppola Keratin hair treatment? Also, has anyone had problems with the treatment turning your hair orange?
I received a gift certificate for a treatment, went online to research it, and found a thread on Oprah.com with so many people advising against this treatment. They are claiming massive hair loss. I am scared to death to even try it now!!
Yes, stories are true but not limited to Coppola. This is a general problem concerning all Keratin Treatments containing formalin as active ingredients - Please check 
I have been using Keratin products in the salon for several months. We use the Global Keratin without Formaldehyde and have no problems. EssenceVIP, have you seen MSDS for Global Keratin? How do you know its free from formalin or other similar ingredients? How do you think it makes the hair straight? How does it bond the keratin to hair? Care to share your findings? 
I was so distracted by the issues with formaldehyde that I ignored the comments about hair loss. It's real, and it's happening to me.
