Medium Curly and Striaght

I have naturally curly dry hair. It has thinned over the years, but I still have enough. I usually get it cut twice a year with my best friend who owns a salon. She does short layers to give me extra volume and voluminous curls. I wash and dry it everyday; use lots of conditioner, a de-frizzer cream and blow dry it on low heat. I make my bangs straight b/c it seems to give me a smoother look.
