My hair gets a yellowy color to it !

I find after i get foils in my hair it gets a yellowy color to it, my hair is brown and i get blonde foils , is there a reason for this or is my hairdresser using the wrong blonde or not leaving it in long enough, any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks wanda
