Natural Golden Brown - Dye or not to dye

I have dark blonde hair with blonde and copper highlights. I'm tired of being streaky and want to go for a more natural look: golden brown. I'm worried that it will come out orange or look to dark or that it won't suit me, but I'm bored of my look and i need a change!
