Need some Advice - Gray hair

I'm being treated to a hair day. I have lots of gray hair and I haven't colored my hair in 15 years. I'd like some feedback before I turn myself over to a stylist. What is the best color and style for me?

I think you are too young and beautiful to go around with white or gray hair. Here are some thoughts you can share with your stylist in your next appointment:

If you were sitting in my chair, I would suggest a shoulder length style with straight cut in back and introducing some graduated layers on front for a semi-shag style to create a much younger and fashionable look. Ask your stylist for multiple choices. You can for example blow-dry and style the ends to flicks, if you prefer that.

Since you have a larger forehead, I would suggest a side-sweep, layered fringe or bangs from left to right, ending right above your right eyebrow. That will balance your face.

For hair color, I would never suggest a full-head application (overall color) for gray hair. I would suggest to add streaks with very light natural blonde (9/03 level) mixed with light ash blonde (8/1 level). It will give a soft and fresh look that match your skin tone.

Its very important to let your stylist know about your mood, personality and where you work, so she/he can adapt the look to you.
