New look for school - What shade of Blonde?

Its nearly Christmas and i want a new look to go back to school with. My hair is naturally black, although its been dyed before...I'm going to get it done at a professional salon but i don't know what colour to get. I've always wanted to be blonde because i love the colour, but i don't know what would suit me. Please help...what shade should i go for?
