by Sabiha

I had amazing hair.It was never oily or dry, but all of a sudden since past one month I have been noticing that my scalp has become extremely oily, even after I shampoo it twice. It looks horrible. I have already changed 3 shampoo brands but still no effect. Please help!!!

There are several suggestions for a similar problem
Try to look for changes in diet and lifestyle during past month. Did you start a new weight loss diet? How about any medical treatments, start or stop taking pills or new supplements? changes will you a clue in where to start. Once you find a possible cause then it would be easier to look for possible solutions.
I had the same problem!!! Iv always had nice thick shiny hair (but not oily). One day after i got out of the shower it was like i hadn't rinsed all of the conditioner out, so i washed it again the next day (didn't have time to wash it again the same day, i had to get to work. Embarrassing!) and i scrubbed my head and hair with shampoo and conditioned again. Same thing! So the next time i shampooed and i only put conditioner on the ends and middle shaft, same thing. Today i washed it with plain old baby shampoo ( i was using Pantene and TRESemme), I even blow dried it in hopes of drying it out and low and behold the same thing happend again. It makes me feel gross because its like i didn't even take a shower.
Wash with pert light shampoo and condition the ends midway down with Pantene Pro-V Ice Shine.
I am 31 and all of a sudden I got oily hair but so did my 7 year old daughter. I know it is from swimming in Chlorine, the body is an amazing machine and produces oil to repair damaged hair. So if your hair is oily it is probably just over protecting your hair. I read all of these comments and then did this ( it probably wasn't all necessary but I was desperate!)
