Novex: Original Brazilian Chocolate Keratin Treatment
Embelleze is the leading manufacturer of Brazilian keratin treatments: Amacihair and Novex. We have discovered that many pseudomanufacturers have misinformed the public on what is true Brazilian Keratin Treatment.
Brazilian keratin treatment is not a straightener but a deep conditioning treatment that strengthens and conditions all hair types. In Brazil, chocolate and white chocolate keratin treatments are quite popular, because it is not only safe but effective form of treatment for damaged hair.
Brazilian keratin treatment comes in two categories:
- The standard keratin treatment that does not straighten hair
- The relaxer (or perm) system with keratin treatment.
What actual straightens the hair is the creme relaxer or the thermal technique that is used. Often ceramic flat irons are applied on hair that has already been relaxed and neutralized.
The Brazilian keratin treatment without relaxer application is quite safe for the consumers, as long as they follow the instruction inside every keratin kit.
The use of formaldehyde in keratin kits or any beauty products is not a standard practice in Brazil. In fact, original Brazil keratin products have been modified or misrepresented in the U.S.
The Brazilian Keratin Treatment should be formaldehyde-free and contain cocoa protein. In Brazil, most keratin treatments are identified as chocolate or white chocolate treatments because of the rich protein and fragrance.

I just got my hair done with the Keratin treatment yesterday and so far it looks great. This is coming from someone that used to wake up with an afro every morning and would have to straighten there hair every minute of the day or there would be two feet of frizz. Today I woke up brushed my hair and left the house. It was GREAT!!!!! Thank you Brazil!
I used this treatment a month ago, and is amazing!!!. My hair looks completely different! Much healthier and smooth.
