Pondering a new hair doo.

by Amy
(Pennsylvania)

I am the one NOT wearing glasses!

I am the one NOT wearing glasses!

I have long layered blond hair and am 34. I am considering a posh style wedge cut. I am concerned, though, that I will be stuck with ONE hair style with this. Now, with long hair, I am able to have a versatile style any time I wish - up, down, braids, etc.

Are there ways to mix it up a bit with a shorter bobbed style? and will it make me look old?

thanks,
Amy

Wedge cut is old fashion

Wedge cut is too old fashion and make you look old. Go for a sleek short bob in Gucci style or get a sexy choppy bob haircut.

The right cut for your face

The right short haircut will actually make you look younger. You need to find a style that make your face appear smaller and a classic wedge haircut will only make your face bigger unless as you suggested your stylist combine it with another style.

If you like to wear your hair straight then consider a chin-length style with inwards curl and bangs or forehead waves above eyebrow.

With short hair you don't have the same styling options like braids, updo, etc... But you can play with hair texture, movement and color like never before. Here some more tips before going short.
