Shall I Colour My Hair Ginger or Purple?

I want to dye my hair but I'm not sure whether to dye it ginger or purple? My natural hair colour is a blondey/brown and my eye colour is blue.

I think if i dyed it ginger, it would be a Lily Cole kind of ginger and if i dyed it purple i would dye it dark purple.
