Thinking of going from blonde to light brown hair color

I am only 13, will it be bad for my hair if i dye it now? I have blonde hair but really dark eye brows. I was thinking of going a light brown or a red color but i don't want my roots to show. How often would i have to dye it? Is there a dye that comes out in about a month?

The best choice is to use a semi permanent hair color. That would be less damaging. If you choose a hair color close to your natural hair color, then your root won't show that obvious, but a typical re-touch of your root is between 6-8 weeks depending on how fast your hair grow.

I also suggest you don't color your hair yourself. Ask adults with experience for assistance or talk with your parents to book time with a stylist for best result.
