Thinning Hair From Extensions

I first got clip in hair extensions around may last year. I would wear them every day for about 4-6 months. I then got beaded hair extensions and wore them for about 3 months and then got clip in extensions again. I noticed that my hair was getting extremely thin, even though it has always been fairly thin.

Its been about 3 months since I stopped wearing hair extensions every day, but I wear them on occasions still because my hair is so hard to manage, and is so thin that I even have trouble getting it into a bun without it looking like I have hardly any hair.

I've researched this and I have found that its possible t get permanent hair loss from too much stress on the scalp for a long period of time.

I'm 15 years old, and it doesn't seem to be growing back and there are many places on my head where it looks very thin, almost bald in some parts and I'm worried that it will never grow back. Is this likely and if so is there anything I can do about it to make it better?
