What color for an asian girl hair

I am an Asian girl and have natural black hair and have dark olive type of complexsion. I want to color my hair but don't no what would suit me? can you help

Olive skin

There are many variations depending on your true complexion. You can be medium-light olive skin, naturally tanned toward olive or olive skin with intense blue undertones.

In general your best choice with Asian dark olive skin is to stay dark (black, all browns in dark tones) avoid blonde. The darker colour can be made more exciting by adding lowlights in for example chestnut shades. Avoid any red copper tones.

Go with what works with you.

It depends on the person, how good the color adheres to your hair and how you maintain the color and look. Maintenance is the key to great hair.

I reckon pretty much any colour except for red, blue, green and all them retro colours, it suits some people but only if they got really sexy features they can pull it off.

Depending how light you are, you can go really light, even blonde if you want, if you're a darker skin tone, again, you can go with any colour maybe not blonde BLONDE. And don't believe wen people tell you to stay dark, yes its true it brings out your eyes and such but do what YOU want to do, experiment aye! I'm Asian and dark skinned and i coloured my hair heaps of red tones cus i LOVED red when i was younger but i didn't realize that made me look really dark and boring, it didn't bring out any of my nice features, it just made me look like a boring Asian. I switched to black just 2 years ago and i've loved it ever since, but i'm like nc42 in mac so you see im not the lightest, it just brought out my features and i got soo many compliments like seriously, it looks hot lol.

I just recently got foils of chestnut caramel brown and their really nice except their a bit on the orange side and i have an orange undertone so it doesn't bring out the best in me but ya know, whats living if you're always wondering what you could or coulda done =P just try it out see what comes of it, you'll probably love it. and who cares if you damage ur hair there's heaps of products to repair and its all about time.

I would try a dark brass or copperish tone thats in the dark brown categories, it will look nice, and be brighter than usual.
blonde isnt a good idea for you because even though it looks good on many, it doesn't suit people all the time.
