What is an easy way to straighten my short hair

I just got my hair cut short. It is very thick. I had layers put in and it's wavy. I don't really like it wavy. What is an easy way to straighten it? I only have about 15-20 minutes to spend on my hair and makeup in the morning.

Blow dry it right away, in sections or layers... then take a straightener, and straighten in layer,, its pretty quick, also, if you spray on a protective mist before straightening,, itll help! then take some shine mist, or little pomade and just run hands over.. your hair
