Where it curly one day straight the other
by straighten it out!
Buy the blow dryer with the brush attachment that clips on (Conair Ion Shine 1875). Pull your hair straight and blow dry it as you comb this brush through it.
Depending on how curly your hair is and how much time you take in drying it out...it should straighten. The down side is that it will after a few times dry out your hair. If you use a conditioner for color treated hair it conditions better.
To detangle curly hair you can buy a detangler spray and it will seems to work well for me.
The (Maxius) hair steamer works well for straightening also.
Curly long hair, I part down the middle and start from the front one side and take a small section (like braiding) and twist picking up another section and moving the first over another section continuing wrapping till it resembles a French braid and then combine both sides at the back to one braid.
