October 4, 2004 - Style Idea
This is one stunning hair style that works for medium to strong hair. In this style, hair ends will look best with soft natural
curls or wavy hair types.
This cut demonstrates the use of layering and internal texture and require regular trimming to stay in best shape.
This elegant and low maintenance hair style looks good on small round and oval face shapes with small features.
For styling you can apply mousse (for dry hair use styling cream) to damp hair and
blow-dry with fingers. To finish, dress the ends with shine spray. Hair color: dark chestnut

Hair Magazine - Hairstyle & Beauty
September 15, 2004 - thefuturenetwork.plc.uk - New UK Hair Magazine
Hairstyle & Beauty is the name of the new hairstyle magazine
recently launched by Future Publishing. This new hair magazine
promises to appeal to the modern woman who wants to find their
perfect look, new hair styles and recreate salon-standard styles
at home.
They also promised salon techniques in simple terms with unique
step-by-step examples. Hairstyle & Beauty will also feature in-depth product tests to encourage more informed purchasing decisions
to suit consumers’ individual needs.
Their first issue hit the british newsstands last week and the first message was "Get a Man. Get a Haircut!".
They made an interesting survey:
The survey team asked hairdressers across the UK to nominate their sexiest styles and then tested the shortlist with over 500
male volunteers to assess the "oomph" factor.
Here was the result:
The soft blonde crop won hands down with 61% of men saying that this style was sexiest because:
- The fringe over one eye was flirty and naughty - 60%
- Blondes are more fun - 22%
Men also voted for short hair cuts over long. Just 11% of men thought
girls should have long hair to appear sexy.
So, if you consider to keep your long hair...think again!:-)
There are more than 3.4m people in the UK regularly read hair and beauty magazine.
This survey was conducted by The Future Network during August 2004.

New Hair Styles - Fall 2004
September 7, 2004 - straight.com - New Style - Temporary
Everything old becomes new again.
Some of the looks for this coming season are influenced by the '60s and '80s.
New hair cuts are moving into shoulder length and mid-length with lots of layers. Light asymmetry patterns seems to be the central attention for fall collection.
For fine hair, bob hair styles is still an option, but the basic hair cuts will be supported with some texturizing and layers to modernize the look.
According to Isabelle Cummins , the art director at
Toni&Guy "Dark roots are in. It's okay not to have colour done
right to the root." Another option is lower maintenance:
"You may have dark on top with a light colour underneath.
You won't have a highlight growing out, but instead peeking through."
The signature of Toni&Guy for this season is in choppy textured ends and strengthened outlines. They use graduation to build more width into shapes. Very stylish...
Toni&Guy will be the official hair care sponsor of London Fashion Week for this September.
