Gray or white hair that gets a yellow cast to it

I have gray/white hair that gets a yellow cast to it on the ends. What can I do to remedy this. I use Pantene shampoo and conditioner and hair spray. Garnier shine spray.

Use a Violet (Purple) Shampoo. This will remove the yellowing tone on your hair.

I use the silvers purple shampoo and conditioner and still have yellow through out my hair. I did discover that there is alot of chlorine in our water. I had a cousin who recently returned to town he had white white hair and now after about 4 months here he is really yellow.

I just looked up some remedies:

Lemon juice or apple cider vinegar after shampoo and cream rinse apply, leave 1 minute
Mayonnaise 1 cup
Lemon Juice 1 tblsp
Leave on 15-20 minutes

I am going to try this also don't use to many products especially before drying. Hope it all works!
