New short cut for me - Blunt cut

I just cut my hair like this beautiful model even got color with similar blond streaks and I love it. First night after cut was kind of beautiful and great, but now I can't get the same look! What product should I use to style it like this? I used paste (What stylist told me) but all got sticky and flat!

Great cut. You probably used too much. Paste or putty are used in very small quantities for finishing touch. First you build the base by gel or foam while blow-drying. Once done you use small amount of paste by warming it up in palm of your hand - use tip of your fingers to hold and grab some hair strands - move from mid to ends. Do not rub and do not use it on scalp. Just tease your hair with it!
