Bio Ionic Kera Smooth Treatment Alternative to Brazilian Blow Out

Bio Ionic is a great alternative to the The Brazilian Blow Out. It has no Ether, Formaldehyde Or Aldehyde. It uses Keratin, Henna and Perm solution to temporarily relax the curl.
It is shampoo'd from the hair the same day, blown out and flat ironed after the shampoo. Usually takes one hour to do on the average head of hair!!!
The curl is a more relaxed less frizzy curl and your hair will be much easier to blow out with lots of shine.

I had the Kera Smooth done on my hair about 2 weeks ago, there is nothing natural about , the smell was so strong that i felt it going through my throat while she was applying it at the salon,after 3 days of wait , i washed my hair it was so fried , burned bleached, a nightmare, i am still treating my hair with oils and deep conditioning, and today my throat hurts very bad , pls don't use it .
I had the Kera Smooth treatment done on my hair. It looked okay until I washed it. It fried my hair and lots fell out. I am still suffering 10 weeks after with damaged hair and the only alternative is to grow it out. My hair felt weird like straw. It was not the soft, shiny, frizz free results I had hoped for. I was frizzier after the treatment. Very disappointed!
No one said it was natural. None of them are. It's an alternative to the formaldahyde and or ether. It smells like mild perm solution and it gets washed out that day before flat ironing, so i am not sure what you had done?
There is Kera Silk which still burns the eyes.

Make sure when hair is being rinsed- a FULL 10 minutes of rinsing happens. Clients should hold timer!!! No neutralizer is used, so must rinse !!!
I had the kerasmooth as well. I've followed up by using the bio ionic shampoo and conditioner but it hasn't helped. My hair is very damaged. My only hope is that somewhere by searching on the net, I can find some wonder product that will keep it from totally breaking off before it grows out. 
I just had my second treatment--the first one was great. I love that it no longer takes me two hours to blow dry and flat iron my long hair (below my bra strap). It is soft and shiny, and if I decide I want loose curls, I can use the big hot rollers for a few minutes, take them out and not touch them. For the first time in my life, I love my hair!
I am a stylist and have used Kerasmooth on several clients hair. I loved using it until one of my clients hair melted with it.. I have never seen anything like it in my life, and I have been doing hair for over 30 years..I have also been certified to use keratin treatments. I will never again use Kerasmooth.. it only takes one person's hair to become completely thrashed to convince you of this horrible product. Good luck to you if you continue with this product.
This product is absolutely HORRIBLE!! My stylist did it exactly as directed and my hair FRIED! Its frizzy it broke off, i dont even want to touch it. I DO NOT recommend this product if you value your hair.
I am a stylist and I used it on my daughter with virgin hair and it did straighten it, but it also broke alot. I asked the rep and she said it is not common. I was not impressed and will not use it again on her or my clients. I followed the directions exactly. 
I have being doing Keratin treatments for two and a half years with great results. The kerasmooth fried my hair and it made it frizzy. I had a beautiful wave and now is all ruin. Really frustrated with the product the stylist never explained it was a perm solution and with colour hair it was the worst. Really Sad and frustrated. It was done at DO MY HAIR SALON in Toronto. 
As with all hair treatments. You must be Sherlock Holmes. I am a Hairdresser and have been in the business for many years. I make sure that i have an indept consultation with my client before any service. I also like to educate my clients aswell. Let them know if the product is right for them...ie...lifestyle,hair type, chemically treated. If they have had a regular relaxer done in the past THIS IS NOT FOR THEM.... It will break the hair, these chemicals should not be mixed. 
Never had any problems using this product. Most people have dry hair to begin with so it is important to do moisturizing deep conditioners weeks before regular trims. Make sure to stop using coating products weeks before to get those drying products out of the hair
I had Kera Smooth done last year & had the same complaints as others...dry, weird feeling texture, and beyond frizzy. The salon did a 2nd corrective application and it was beautiful for 4 months. So, a year after the first treatment, I decide to do it again. Same results as the first time. I really expected better results this time being that this stylist knows the hair she is dealing with (mine). I'm deciding whether to call the salon or not. I'm going out of town & don't have time for anyone to fix it. I am SO disappointed. I have a disease that is making it harder for me to style my hair. I was willing to pay the price to have this done more often to alleviate my personal pain. Very depressing all the way around. 
I got the KaraSmooth as an alternative to the Brazilian blowout after my hairdresser recommended it as a safe, formaldehyde-free treatment, a few days later my hair was damaged and frizzed, over the course of a few weeks the hair on an area about 2 inches by 4 inches on the crown of my head fell out!! leaving me with a bold spot!! also a small area on the back of my head sustained major breakage. Now I have to wear my hair up until it grows back to cover the area on top. I have been using different treatments since 2002 and never had this happen before.
Kera Smooth is horrible. It did nothing for my hair. In fact, I think it made it more frizzy and curly.
Kera smooth in my opinion is good for really curly fizzy hair. I had it done on myself by a professional and the results were great. I had shine and body in my hair. If you have a tremendous amount of build up then this product is also good. I recently tried this on my client a year ago and then again this year the results were horrible on her. Then I tried on another client with curly unruly hair and anything was better than she had so therefore she loved her hair. I personally would never use this product again. The hair feels dryer. You have to consider too many things. If you miss one step and do not follow exactly then you can ruin the hair. I am grateful that my clients hair did not fall out. 
I just had it done last week and my hair is fried. Awful. This is the worst treatment I've ever had done. My salon is certified, and it is a reputable salon. Is there anything that can be done to stop the breaking?
